Helena joined KBC in May 2009 having spent the previous seven years at the helm of Virgin Holidays’ Brand and Communications division.  Her background is almost entirely within UK tour operating, working in marketing communication roles for major brands such as First Choice, Eurostar and Unijet.

Working for a such a major brand as Virgin has given Helena the experience of working on multi-media, multi-million pound campaigns both at a brand development and a tactical level.  She’s worked co-operatively with a number of tourist boards and delivered every time against challenging traffic and direct sales call targets, brand health measures, and strategic business objectives.  She also won the Best TV Campaign award at the 2009 Travel Marketing Awards for her ‘Ask for the World’ campaign starring national treasure and childhood singing sensation, Charlotte Church.
