Children will be able to try cheerleading, gymnastics, rollerama (own skates required), arts and crafts, tumble tots, toddlers football and street dance. Whilst adults can enjoy mini gym introductions, body pump classes and find out more about one months free membership available on the day.

The Open Day, being organised in partnership with Rother Children’s Centres and Rother District Council is running from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Bexhill Leisure Centre on Down Road. Any monies raised from the open day will be donated to Sport Relief.

Ross Philipson, Centre Manager at Freedom Leisure Bexhill, said: “We’re really excited to be opening our doors to the local community of Bexhill and showing them the excellent facilities that are available. We hope to encourage both adults and children to become more active whilst having lots of fun!”

Cllr Deirdre Williams, Rother District Council Member for Culture, Sport and Leisure, said:  “Encouraging young people and adults to stay fit and active is a key aim of the Council, so we are delighted to be supporting this open day and look forward to seeing lots of people take part in the wide variety of sports on offer.”
