Date: 2007

Task: To drive web traffic and direct sales calls and promote the added value offered by Virgin Holidays as standard on its holiday packages.

Implementation: Helena managed the development of a multi media advertising campaign, supported by direct marketing and loyalty communications to the database, using the theme of ‘Get More with Virgin Holidays’.  The campaign creative was developed by Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw and the TV ad was produced by Aardman Animations using a unique style mixing actors’ facial expressions with animation.

Results:  January 2008 was the most successful in the history of the tour operator, with more web visitors and direct sales calls delivered than at in any other year.  Brand tracking showed the campaign to be well liked, memorable, and performing well against the brand kpis.
